Back by popular demand Joan and Ed are coming back to run our morning program.  Check out their bios.


Joan McCammon began telling stories Chautauqua style in Santa Clarita 20 years ago by portraying historical figures in the American Association of University Women’s “Women of History” school program. She has gone on to tell her favorite folk tales at schools, libraries, events, and festivals. She has been a featured Children’s Story Hour teller for the past four years. She was a featured teller in the evening Tellers Showcase at AWSF in 2017.  Contact her at:


Ed Lewis is a retired Early Childhood Professor who has taught storytelling classes for aspiring teachers. He produces storytelling events in Davis area including Tellebration, The Storytelling Café, and the Davis Storytelling Extravaganza.  A teller of tall tales he won the award for “Best Liar” in Sacramento and “Biggest Liar” in Auburn. Lewis will be using all his tricks when he collaborates with Joan McCammon for the 10:30 Children’s Story hour. Contact him at:
